DAY OF ACTION AGAINST TERRORIST DESIGNATION:
STAND WITH CPA, DEFEND CORDILLERA PH! On November 23, we stand against the trumped-up terrorist designation of the four Cordillera Peoples Alliance leaders Windel Bolinget, Sarah Alikes, Jen Awingan, and Steve Tauli. This is also in line with the International Day Against Impunity.
We believe that such designation is an impediment to the democratic rights of the people and a manifestation of the overall attacks in the Cordillera region. These CPA leaders have long stood for indigenous peoples’ rights and the general welfare of the Cordillera people.
We call on everyone to stand for democracy, truth, and justice. We call on everyone to stand against fascist state institutions such as the Anti-Terrorism Council and the Anti-Terrow Law that gives power to it.
In this time of crisis, we must band together for human rights! We must stand together for the people of Cordillera!
