March 7 “Bloody Sunday” was a dark day for activists in the Philippines. The Philippine police and military conducted a coordinated operation “to serve a total of 24 search warrants in the Calabarzon-Southern Tagalog region”, leading to 9 deaths and 6 arrests of political activists.
