Become and advocate of Human Rights
The UK Campaign For Human Rights in the Philippines (CHRP-UK) was set up in 2006, at a
time when “disappearances” and extra-judicial killings in the Philippines had sharply escalated.
We work through our volunteer membership to raise issues about human rights in the
Philippines. We are funded by membership fees and donations.
Our activities include lobbying the UK Government and Members of Parliament concerning UK
trade and foreign policy; organising events highlighting human rights issues in the Philippines;
developing solidarity links between trade unions, environmental groups, journalists,
parliamentarians, and others with their counterparts in the Philippines.
If you wish to get involved as a CHRP member, please email us at info@chrp.org.uk us and let
us know your name, email address and mobile phone number. Someone will contact you back
to discuss ways you can be involved in CHRP.
