An event to support the livelihood recovery programme for the victims of typhoon Haiyan in Albuera, Philippines

It will be an evening of Filipino food, music, crafts, stand-up comedy, auctions, charity sale, and other performances commemorating Filipino people’s resilience in the face of disaster.
Jocelyn Oxlade, formerly lead singer of Kitty Girls, will be showcasing her Filipino-British musical talent.
James Veitch will be performing his one-man comedy show, “The Fundamental Interconnectedness of Everyone.”
Harry Harrisis is a folksinger, songwriter, and recording artist will be regaling us with stories about others through song.
Nate Maingard is a London-based South African musician who will be serenading us with his beautiful voice and music.
The Cordillera Connection is a group of musicians from the Indigenous People’s from the Cordilleras, Philippines.
Solid Gone is an original, skiffle blues blend band, featuring powerful vocals, dirty delta blues guitar, wailing harmonica, thumping double bass and an irresistible beat.

Special Guest from the Philippines: Tinay Palabay, Karapatan Secretary General, will discuss the human rights issues on Glencore-Xstrata’s deadly Tampakan mining project
Ryan Chua, ABS CBN reporter, will be speaking about the various relief efforts of the UK Filipino community
